About Me
Hi, I'm Lena. I work as an illustrator, animator, and story artist in beautiful, soggy Portland where I live with my husband and son. My work is whimsical and fun, focusing on character and storytelling.
I earned my BFA in Studio Art from The University of California, Los Angeles in 1999 and went back for an MFA in Animation in 2004. Since 2005 I have worked as an artist in the animation industry on various TV, commercial, and feature film projects.
I have been obsessed with drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I aspire always to learn and have a good time in the process.
