I’m plugging away in pre-production on my short. I’ve been rewriting my script, story boarding, revising my character designs, and painting. I love this part! I finished these gouache paintings a couple weeks ago and am pretty happy with them as rough color concepts for my backgrounds. Check em.
Here’s another new lady friend. Just finished this piece for an upcoming show with Girls Drawin’ Girls at Meltdown Comics. All you LA people should check it out. Wish I could. Been jonesin’ for a little Southern California action.

This is an illustration I did for the new Girls Drawin’ Girls pin-up calendar. Miss August was inspired by my love for summer bbq.
Here is a little before shot: my rough black and white comp. As you can see, I strayed from it quite a bit.
